October 21, 2021          jmt99          Announcement, Events, News

Hello everyone! Today we have a very big announcement that has been planned for quite some time now. Jmt Studios is working on permanently re-opening all of our old major holiday event games! This will be happening slowly over time from now and into next year as we:

  • Fix content & features that have been broken from Roblox-related updates.
  • Improve performance and stability as well as fix bugs.
  • Add mobile support and new quality of life features.
  • Possible small amounts of new content.

You may ask “When are these games re-opening and which ones?”, which I have good news for you! You will not have to wait for long, as starting tomorrow afternoon, October 22nd, we will be starting off with re-opening Unofficial Trick or Treat 2015! Remember also that this is permanent; you will be able to play the game anytime for years to come. Stay tuned here on our blog or on our Twitter account for future news about when other event games will be re-opening and what will be updated in them. We also have an upcoming update post very soon regarding the new game we are working on. So watch out for that.

  July 27, 2021          jmt99          Announcement, News

Hello everyone! This blog post is probably very unexpected, but today is a very important day. This day marks exactly 13 years since I made my Roblox account, and three years since the closing of Jmt Studios. The most important part of those two events, though, is that one of them will be ending today. Since I do not plan to have my Roblox account deleted anytime soon, this leaves only one other possibility: I am happy to announce that Jmt Studios will be officially re-opening, and we have a new game scheduled to release later this year!

  July 27, 2018          jmt99          Announcement, News

Sunday, July 27th, 2008 8:36am ET.

This time marks the beginning of a decade-long and life-changing journey. Today marks the end of this journey. As of July 27th, 2018 8:36pm ET, exactly 10 years and 12 hours since I created my account, I have officially left and retired from the Roblox platform. It has been an eventful and memorable past 10 years. Roblox may seem just like some website to some people but for me, it’s more than that, and it represents a large chunk of my childhood and teenage years.

Hello everyone, today I will be making an update for everyone regarding Jmt Studios, but before that, I would like to make an important announcement:

Jmt Studios will be officially ceasing operations at the end of the day on July 27th, 2018.

The studio will be declared as retired and no new content will come out of us. All of our assets will still be available but will no longer be updated or used. These assets include: Roblox games, our website, Roblox group, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, etc. The public section of our Discord will close after July 27th, 2018. We will be making a proper and formal goodbye in July.

As a celebration of our development and success over the past 6 years in Jmt Studios, in July 2018, we will be releasing/opening every single one of our games. This includes games that have been closed like Bullseye and our event games, and even games we never released. You can expect more information about that in June 2018. Also, I (jmt99) will be releasing an autobiography about my experience on the Roblox platform when I retire on July 27th, 2018, so look out for that!

Now that’s out of the way, let’s get into the update.

  November 21, 2017          jmt99          Announcement, News

Hello everyone. Today I have some very important news for everyone regarding myself and the future of Jmt Studios.

After many months of contemplation, I have decided that I will be fully retiring from Roblox game development on July 27th, 2018 (my 10th Roblox anniversary). Also, on December 21st, 2017 (my 18th birthday), I will be switching over from a full-time Roblox game developer to a part-time Roblox game developer up until the time that I retire.

I refuse to use the word “quit”, as I don’t think I would ever just log off of Roblox and never come back. I have spent almost a decade of my life on the platform. Of course, when I retire in July, I am going to be extremely inactive as the only thing I really do on Roblox is develop games. I might log in once a month or less after July 2018.

Why have I decided to retire? Well, there are multiple reasons.
